Digital Fortress !

I was wondering on how to spend the next 4 hours while waiting for the next class to start . After a brief stop at a restaurant , my coursemate and I decided to head to the library since the both of us had no idea what to do . So off we went to the library to look around and possibly look out for the much needed textbooks for our subjects !

After hastily skimming the pages of several books (not to mention some fooling around with other coursemates) , I came across a shelf filled with novels(ok maybe with a little help from my mate =P) and to be honest i was quite surprised that there were novels in a UNI LIBRARY ! (i thought there'd only be old , worn out textbooks) .

At first I was not interested in the books and I was briefly looking through the tittles and one particular name caught my eye . DAN BROWN .. For a second I thought my eyes were playing tricks on me . After confirming what I saw was true , my eyes were hunting .. for the tittle of the book . DIGITAL FORTRESS , the tittle in itself made me so curious . Grabbed the book and headed straight for the reading section .

Read the book for the next 2 hours plus and I really really liked it ! It had a little bit of everything in it action , love , deception all you can wish for in a novel ... maybe im overreacting a little bit because after all the last book i ever read was John Grisham's The Firm , which was a long long time ago ! But hey .. at least it got me addicted ! =P

Since i couldnt borrow it on that day , i went back a few days after that and borrowed it . Till this moment , i am still trying to finish the book ! Half way through and another half to go !
I've been reading it the whole day in parts and i still cant get enough of it ! Hope to finish it by tomorrow . and owh yeah this is the book's cover that i could find online (and its the same one too ! )
try reading it if you can ! *gotta go and finish the book !*

If you are reading this and you still have no idea what this post is about then i'd certify you as alien from outer space ! =)
anyways its been about a week since IT premiered after all the hoo-haa's and my god what a worthwhile wait it was ! well perhaps not for me because i just watched the first movie in HBO about 3 weeks earlier in HBO ! =P


The plan was to watch RTF in TIMES SQUARE'S GSC but ended up watching it in IMAX !
The experience was simply awesome ! I was in awe when i first entered the hall =)

Back to the movie , the graphics was simply out of this world and add some brilliant fighting into the mix .. and you get one heck of a movie!
The twin autobots were hilarious (despite some of the controversial lines) and this sequel is a lot funnier compared to the first one .

The seats would REALLY tremble when there's a fight sequence and whats more the sound system was simply outstanding ! Its a shame that i only managed to get front row seats so i had problems on focusing on the images because the screen was just too big ! (imagine Shia's face is one storey high !! )

The funny scenes received great applause from the audience . You will know which scenes if you've watched it ;D
and owh yeah , Meagan Fox was hawt ! She'll break many hearts if its true that she's a trans =?


All in all , a big hats off to Mr Bay for this amazing sequel ! the audience were on their feet at the end of the movie with a big applause and i could clearly hear some whispers " it's the best movie i've watched in many months !"
and i couldnt agree more .... i went back home thinking to myself , its THE BEST RM 11 i've spent so far ! ^^

(and owh yea ... i didnt reveal too much about the movie because i think you shuld watch the movie for yourself ! )

Finally ! after a year of actually signing up for Blogspot , this will be my first posting !
Never mind the fact that i registered for a TOTALLY DIFFERENT reason , I'm here now and that is all that matters .

A big thank you to Janane for actually convincing me to post a blog or two ! I just hope that i'll be able to keep posting blogs ! LOL

Now back to business , why Requiem of Soul ? some might wonder . The idea actually popped into my neurons while i was reading a very old version of READERS DIGEST (and i mean REALLY OLD , 1970's version ! ) when i was in JB visiting my grandmother (of all the places on earth) .
An article immediately grabbed my attention while i was just fillping through the pages (obiviously i cant remember the heading nor the article ) while reading , the word REQUIEM caught my eyes interesting word i thought to myself and then I remembered my futile attempts to actually come out with a name for this blog . To cut it short , I came back and did some reasearch and found some interesting + different meanings to it and plus I thought adding the word ' of soul 'would actually make it a catchy phrase .
[Requiem = Grand Musical ] + of Soul . Although I did try differents methods to come up with a name , I just thought this would fit better ! (plus i don have to waste more time finding NAMES ! =P )

Its up to you to interpert the meaning however you want ! Let the imginations fly !!
Lets just see whether this will actually turn out to be my MAGNUM OPUS ...
